Making cookies

Food fun Friday! Biscuits are always a hit in our house, especially chocolate chip cookies.
Recipe at the bottom of the page.

Seth tipping in the sugar.

condensed milk...yum.

Serious mixing.

Carefully putting our tasty treats into the oven.

Lots of yummy cookies for afternoon tea.

Ingredients

125g butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
a few drops of vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 chocolate chips

Cream butter, sugar, condensed milk and vanilla until light and fluffy. Sift flour and baking powder together. Mix sifted ingredients and chocolate chips into creamed mixture. Roll tablespoonful of mixture into balls, place on a greased oven tray and flatten with a floured fork. Bake at gas mark 6 for 20 mins.

What a great afternoon of baking we had and of course the eating is always good. Give these a try and let me know how they went.

Have fun.
